Golf Australia National Squad Selection Criteria/Benchmarks
The components used to select players for the Golf Australia National Squad are outlined below:
There is no minimum or maximum number of members in the National Squad Program.
These criteria have been reviewed to remain as current as possible, reflecting the performance of today’s competitive international environment. If these criteria are met at any time during the year, players will automatically be invited to join the National Squad.
The intent of the selection criteria is to provide our players a series of participation, ranking and performance benchmarks. For players who have goals to have success on the international stage at the amateur or professional level we feel these benchmarks are appropriate goals to achieve so they are best prepared to have success at the international amateur or professional level.
Golf Australia will adjust the criteria as necessary in order for our players to remain competitive on the international stage.
